Welcome to the Charlotte Tradesmen: Charlotte's Leather/Levi Club

Meet the Tradesmen

These are our Full Members. Read our bios and get to know us a little. When you see us out somewhere, say “Hi!”

Our Leather Levi Club continues to grow. We welcome fellow travelers on their Leather journey to explore traditions and build new memories together in the Queen City.

Papa Jeff T., President

Tradesmen since 2002

Papa Jeff is a native of rural North Carolina. He is a white, cisgendered, 69-year-old, masculine gay male, and a regional titleholder who is conscious of the overlapping privilege and problems inherent in this stack of labels. After a successful year serving as Mr. North Carolina Leather 2025, he is currently serving as your Mr. SouthEast LeatherFest 2026.

Papa Jeff came into the Leather and Kink community in 1979. Over the years since, he has lived and worked in 43 states and 11 countries. In 1999 Papa Jeff moved back to North Carolina and connected with the Charlotte Tradesmen where he found his community, his family and, ultimately, his voice.

Over the years Papa Jeff has mentored many in their Leather and Kink journeys. He identifies as a Dom Top. His kinks include fisting, flogging, cock and ball torture, spanking and paddling, passive restraint and light bondage. He is exploring additional methods of impact play and considering needle play (but it scares him).

He appreciates making new friends and renewing connections with old ones. When you see Papa Jeff, come say “Hello!”

 Chuck G., Secretary

Tradesmen since 1999

Chuck is an anomaly, in that he came out to Leather (age 27) in 1997 after moving from Atlanta to Charlotte and found The Tradesmen.  As anyone who knows him can confirm, when he commits to an activity, he is in it all the way.  When he commits, he gives his all.  After joining in 1999, Chuck is a Tradesman, and always will be.  He has served as Secretary, Treasurer and President.  Since his move back to Atlanta in 2004, he continues to make monthly pilgrimages back to Charlotte to participate in club activities.  He has also traveled extensively to leather events, representing The Tradesmen throughout the SouthEast, and has ventured as far as MAL, IML, CLAW, Mates, and both Palm Spring’s Prides.  Residing back in Ga, he has supported local Leather events with the Panthers, Atlanta S/M Solidarity, SouthEast Leather Fest, Atlanta Leather Pride, Black and Blue, Kink Down South plus has represented Leather in the local western dance community via DanceOut Atlanta.

All along the way, he has continued to grow along his Leather journey and knows that he will never stop learning, investigating, and exploring.

Timothy L., Treasurer

Tradesmen since 2011

Timothy got his first taste of Leather venturing into the DC Eagle in mid-1987. When the Charlotte Eagle closed, he became an active member of the community. When the Woodshed Lounge became the home bar for The Tradesmen, he met and got involved with the best group of Leather men that you could ever know. Through this membership and exposure from the “inside”, he was able to witness and experience the Structure, the Brotherhood and the Loyalty this community is based on. Timothy has served the Tradesmen as Secretary, President, Vice President, and as Co-Road Captain. His Club brothers honored him by appointing him as Mr. NC Leather 2013. He has been selected as Tradesmen of the Year twice. Timothy volunteers at several organizations that serve our community. He is the Sign Language interpreter for R.A.I.N.,  where he has interpreted the program at the Charlotte AIDS Walk for the last 8 years. He is also a volunteer at Great Things and My Sister’s House. He also is a Sign Language interpreter for SouthEast Leatherfest. He enjoys raising funds with the Tradesmen for The House of Mercy. Timothy is proud and honored to serve the Leather communities of this region and represent the southeast wherever his travels may take him as the 2015-2016 Mr. SE LeatherFest.

Tim S. Road Captain

Tradesmen since 1998

Tim is one of the longest current members of the Tradesmen. Tim has held the offices of President, Vice-President, Road Captain and Member-at-Large for the Tradesmen. Tim was the 2014 recipient of the "Daddy Bill Honor and Service Award" and received the 2015 "Stice Memorial Community Service Award" at SouthEast LeatherFest. He has held the titles of both Mr. Woodshed and Ms. Woodshed, and is always willing to do whatever he can for his club. Tim understands the concept of "Service" like nobody else. His Alter-Ego "Nadia" is always willing to lend a hand, or a wig, for a good cause and has performed at events throughout the South East. Tim is very involved with our Annual "Toys for Tots" drive and helping with events for our charity "House of Mercy." In his spare time he enjoys collecting pigs, visiting his "Summer Home”, NASCAR and Panther's Football!

Tradesmen since 2026

I've been with my Master since 2010. Volunteered at Capex for 7 years as the Decorations Team Lead. Started going to the Woodshed and hanging out with The Charlotte Tradesmen. Became an Associate member before being made an Honorary Member and then when they opened up the group to women I was asked to pledge and I am privileged to be the first female voted in as full member of the Charlotte Tradesmen. Huge thanks and love to my Master and to all my wonderful brothers!  Also part of our Family - Maison du Cuir (House of Leather)
